A Winter walk on Dollymount Beach looking toward Dublin Port, is a painting inspired by many walks along the beach with my dad and my brother during the winter months over the years. It was a lovely way to clear the cobwebs off. Sadly dad passed away in early 2024 although the fondest memories remain of these days. This painting is an attempt to capture those cold days with low winter light, and is part of the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club’s Shorelines exhibition hosted by The Dublin Port Authority in May and June 2025.
